HEROES: Helen Mirren she is a strong successful woman. In derby I would have to say there are many people I admire Biceptual, Scald Eagle and SauSarge Rolls to name a few.
PERSONAL MOTTO: Always work hard and don't leave anything behind on the track, no one knows how long this wonderful opportunity will last.

For fun, for fitness, for the physical and mental challenge, for the amazing friends and community it has brought me. For all of it. :)

When not at derby I'm busy being an IT manager, a mum and a wife. I struggle to find time for other things like yoga and reading but I always find time to watch Survivor.

I love pushing myself to do something that I didn't  think that I would be able to do. Derby gives me a want to keep trying to constantly improve and challenge myself. The derby community is full of friendly, passionate people and I love being a part of that.

When I'm not skating, I'm working full time in I.T, playing piano, binge watching TV shows/scary movies and XBOX-ing!

Mum said ‘you should play a sport’ followed by ‘not that one!’  Honestly though, I needed something that would keep my body, mind and soul fit.

I’m a Lighting Consultant (aka Globe Geek).  I also love working in my succulent garden.  Succulents are like Derby girls – they’re tough as nails and come in a wondrous variety of colours, shapes and sizes.

Because it’s AWESOME! I love that I can have fun, get fit and meet loads of cool people while doing it.

I have a little hand stamped Jewelry business that I do from home as well as working as a practice manager in a dental clinic. But my No#1 job is a mum to my super cool son Ben.

I thought it would be a great way to keep fit and help be more social. The amazing friendships and bonds formed along the way was a bonus i wasn't expecting.

Im always up for trying new things and finding new ways of keeping fit while having fun. I also enjoy sleeping, eating all the food, dancing, mastering Tetris, colouring my hair and not wearing pants.
